Description

Orb Health, Inc. is a Richardson, Texas based Chronic Care Management organization. We are rapidly growing tele-medicine company in the healthcare industry. We are looking for a dynamic Financial Controller to join our team. This position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Orb Health partners with leading Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), healthcare systems, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), Community Health Centers (RHCs), and Revenue Cycle Management firms to improve patient outcomes and accelerate value-based profitability through Chronic Care Management, Remote Patient Monitoring, and more. Our industry-leading Collaborative Virtual Care™ solution enables providers to seamlessly deliver coordinated, reimbursable, patient-centric Chronic Care Management as an extension of the practice without requiring additional staff, applications, or office space. All stakeholders in the patient’s outcome work as a cohesive unit through a holistic approach that drives significantly improved patient outcomes and satisfaction while increasing reimbursements and lowering costs.

About the candidate:
This position holds accountability for all financial accounting-related activities, reporting, treasury, taxes, maintaining/implementing financial controls. The ideal candidate should have 7 to 10+ years working experience in financial/accounting, preferably in healthcare industry. The candidate must have proven analytical skills, strong problem-solving ability, and an operational control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail. Successful candidate must be self-motivated and a proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability of projects. The candidate must have strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities. Must be able to work full time, Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p and be available to work additional hours based on needs of the business.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Accounting required. Master’s in Accounting and/or Finance preferred. CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 to 10+ years’ experience in financial reporting, general ledger, and month end closing.
  • Requires excellent computer skills including Excel, Word and QuickBooks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Oversees and manages all financial activities of Orb Health, Inc.
  2. Implements financial policies and procedures. Monitors compliance with policies relating to receipt of revenue, disbursement of funds, and safeguarding of assets for the company.
  3. Develops and maintains all company accounting systems to provide complete and accurate records.
  4. Collects, maintains, and disburses funds in the name of the company.
  5. Conducts ongoing financial analysis and coordinates financial services of the company.
  6. Ensures maintenance of appropriate financial records and prepares required financial and operating reports; quarterly and annual tax related reports; and governmental reports as required.
  7. Assists CEO in preparation of detailed financial analysis and annual budgets for presentation to the company’s Board of Directors.
  8. Works with CEO in developing and monitoring of current and long-range financial performance plans for the company.
  9. Coordinates annual audit and financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
