OVERVIEW:

The Clinical Analyst will be responsible for leading and participating in planning, development, implementation, training, evaluation of use, and optimization of clinical information systems. This role is responsible for building, testing, and implementing computer applications and other systems that support Orb Health’s business and clinical initiatives. This role serves as an internal expert on clinical initiatives.

 

OBJECTIVE/PURPOSE:

The Clinical Analyst will develop an understanding of Orb Health’s implementation process and a strong working knowledge of clinical workflows and technical specifications in both Orb Health’s platform and our Client EHRs. In addition, excellent communication skills, time management, persistence, and follow-up will be required for success in this position.

 

PRINICIPLE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in implementation process of new and current Customers
  • Configuration of clinical workflows, products and documentation of Client EHR and Orb Platform
  • Knowledge of CMS regulations related to chronic care management and transition of care management, etc.
  • Works with integrated support teams to provide support for software functionality, content and defect resolution updates
  • Reports track and communicate status and issues, based on departmentally defined reporting templates
  • Strong Customer service ethic applied to IT support and implementations
  • Understands pertinent and regulatory guidelines such as HIPAA
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with clinical and information technology personnel verbally and in writing
  • Mature understanding of clinical application support processes and workflow
  • Demonstrates advanced computer skills
  • Participates in special projects as needed and performers other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare
  • Knowledge of Health Care Industry and/or experience in CMS Enrollment and Disenrollment guidelines
  • 2+ years in information technology capacity
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio applications, including V-lookup and Process Mapping. Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated customer orientation focus
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clinical and information technology personnel using professional and timely verbal and writing skills
  • Ability to travel 25-50%
