Senior Vice President of Business Development
This position is responsible for generating new client relationships to achieve sales objectives as established by Orb Health senior management. The individual that fills this role will promote the Orb Health, Care Management as a Service offering, applying industry expertise and experience to build brand awareness and company growth.
Responsibilities for Senior Vice President of Business Development

Establish and maintain an inventory of sales prospects, leveraging industry contacts and existing professional relationships.

Identify and build relationships with key decision makers to create new business opportunities.

Initiate and conduct proactive outbound sales introductory calls using sales methods that include cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn marketing, and face-to-face meetings.

Present the Orb Health Care Management as a Service solution to prospective clients.

Cultivate relationships with EMR/EHR product visionaries to accelerate the advancement of Care Management.

Evaluate new business prospects to ensure that they fit within the vision and capabilities of Orb Health.

Monitor websites for RFP’s, register, secure and, respond to RFP’s when appropriate.

Prepare and present proposals and contract documents to prospective clients.

Negotiate contractual provisions with prospective clients in accordance with parameters established by Orb Health senior management.

Attend and participate in industry related trade shows and association meetings.

Get established on speaker bureaus and present when opportunities arise.

Coordinate and promote Webinars sponsored and managed by Orb Health.

Provide frequent updates to Orb Health senior management on anticipated sales with expected closing dates and potential revenue.

Development of both short- and long-term marketing plans with clearly defined goals for revenue and profitability

Proactive networking, relationship cultivating and enhancement of existing client relationships.
Qualifications for Senior Vice President of Business Development

Proven ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial and fast-growth business environment.

Driven and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Comfortable presenting to large groups.

Ability to travel as necessary to represent Orb Health on sales calls and industry related events.
Education/Experience for Senior Vice President of Business Development

Bachelor's degree or Master’s preferred
-
7 – 10 years of proven sales experience; 5 years of management experience

Healthcare experience preferred
